With this function you have the ability to adjust the colours in each respective echosounder view. For example, you can set the DownScan display colour to grey in order to easily see the structure on the bottom even better.
The colours of HyperVision can be adjusted separately through an additional section in the settings.
Similarly, the 3D RealVision also has specific settings that are further explained under the 3D section.
Under the 'Depth' section, you can show or hide the depth lines in the echosounder display.
This setting is ideal for lakes that are quite uniform in depth or lakes you have never fished before and do not know the overall depth.
One drawback of the ‘Auto’ setting is when it is used on lakes with large variations in depths. When the echosounder is in the ‘Auto’ mode it will automatically try to keep the lake bed in the centre of the screen. As a result the picture on the screen will jog up and down on steep incline/declines making it difficult to get an overall picture of how the lake bed undulates.
Otherwise, using the 'Auto' function is a good choice as it works reliably and quickly.
