My project-1(45).jpg

One of the simplest and most accurate methods to save GPS waypoints is the Trackback function.

Here, by clicking on the echosounder image in the echosounder history, you can save a GPS position whether you have already passed by it or not.

There are two ways for saving spots:

One method is to navigate to the desired location in the echosounder history, especially if it is further back and not visible in the current image. Then, you click on the Trackback function and select the interesting spot in the echosounder view to save it as a waypoint. The saved spot will be marked with a cross symbol.

After assigning a name and saving the waypoint, the echosounder remains paused and will continue running only when you press the "Play" button.

If the spot is still visible in the current echosounder image, you can activate the function directly, and the echosounder image will continue running immediately after saving the spot. This is very convenient for quickly saving a position within the current field of view.

Attention!!

This function is not available in the 50/50 view and, therefore, will not be displayed among the Echo sounder functions, when 50/50 mode is turned on.
