The Point Management menu is all about creating GPS points, as spots can be created not only through the echo sounder window.

By clicking on the button 'Save boat position', you can save a GPS point based on the current position of the boat. Once the button is clicked, the point is saved and you can give a name to the saved point through the pop-up window that appears after clicking the button.
