Through the community, users have the ability to share files such as waypoints, maps, log files, screenshots, or routes with other users. To do this, in the respective folders such as Saved Routes, Waypoints, Overlays, Depth Maps, Screenshots, users can select the desired files by clicking on the "Share" button and then release these points for sending by clicking on "Share Now".
Immediately a pop-up window appears, where you can enter the email address of the user with whom you would like to share files.
After confirming, you will also receive a confirmation that the file has been sent. If the email address is incorrect, you will be informed by an error message that this address is not correct or not registered in the community.
Under the account settings, there is the "mailbox" section, where all received files can be found. Here, it indicates who sent the file, when it was sent, and what type of file it is. By clicking on the respective message, there is the option to import the received file (confirm) or delete the message.
Once the file has been imported, a confirmation note will pop up and the file can be found in the corresponding folder. Furthermore, the sender of the file is always displayed.
