In the Touchpad Settings, you have the ability to configure the touchpad and adjust the motor's rotation direction and speed. This allows you to customize the controls to your preference and optimize the performance of the motors.
Under the menu item 'Show', you can set whether the touchpad is always shown, always hidden, or only shown when the tablet is not inserted in the AiO controller.
Since the touchpad can slightly restrict the field of view in the enlarged echosounder view, it makes sense to hide it completely or only show it when the tablet is not attached to the All-in-One Controller unit.
When using an external tablet, it certainly makes sense to always keep it displayed so that you can control the boat even without being at the AiO controller itself.
With this function, you can set the touchpad to “enlarge on use”, allowing you to see the truly usable area of the touchpad. This can be helpful during initial uses of the boat to quickly familiarize yourself with the touchpad's functionality and the real operation size of it.
Adjusting Motor Directions
Depending on the construction year and type of motor, it may be necessary to adjust these settings to ensure that the boat drives in a straight line with the autopilot or AiO controller.
Invert Left: Reverses direction for the left motor during straight driving
Invert Right: Reverses direction for the right motor during straight driving
Swap Left/Right: Swaps control commands over to opposite motor when executing turns.
The AiO Controller comes fully configured, but there may be cases where you want to use an external tablet. In such cases, you need to transfer the settings to the new tablet, as well as the 'VTail' settings mentioned below.
If settings are modified here, as a result it can be the case that the boat only moving in reverse or in circles, so it's important to keep the factory settings.
