By clicking on the 'Save tablet position' button, you can save a GPS point based on the current position of the tablet. Once the button is clicked, the point is saved and you can give it a name using the pop-up window that appears.

This can be particularly helpful when searching for spots with an inflatable boat/folding boat. This way, you can only take the tablet with you in the boat to save the found spots.

Attention !

The GPS accuracy of the tablet is usually around 1-2 meters, therefore a GPS point saved with the tablet position will never be as accurate as one saved with the boat position or the trackback function.
