With this function, you have the ability to extract even more details from the current echosounder view using three different settings. In most cases the automatic settings of the echosounder are already very good, which usually eliminates the need for manual adjustment.

In some situations it makes sense to experiment with these controls to see if you can get an even better representation of the echosounder image. Examples would be very deep waters, extremely shallow waters, or waters with a high concentration of suspended particles.

General settings cannot be recommended. However, to understand the purpose of each function, there are also "question mark" symbols available, which explain the function of each point even without having a manual in front of you.
