At the front of each hopper bay are the connection ports for the boats ancillary BUS system.
Using these ports you can connect, operate and control the V4 system accessories. These include accessories such as the V4 bait spirals and the V4 Winchcam.
Accessories not labelled as “V4”, for example the V3 camera or V3 bait spiral should under no circumstances be connected to the RT7’s BUS ports. If they were to be connected they could potentially damage the RT7’s BUS system which will not covered by the warranty.
Please always disconnect and connect devices to the BUS system when the boat is switched OFF. If this happens while it is switched on, it can lead to a system crash of the boat, which can only be remedied by resetting the boat (press and hold the main switch for 30 seconds until the boat restarts).
When not in use the protective caps must always be attached to prevent corrosion. Damage caused by oxidized/corroded connections are not covered by the warranty and must be borne by the user.
